Our Mission
At Overland Christian Schools, our mission is to provide a strong educational foundation from a biblical perspective and to prepare young people for service as they pursue God’s will for their lives.
It is our desire to educate the whole child: academically, emotionally, physically, and most importantly, spiritually.
Grades 1 - 6th
Grades one through six at OCS utilize the Bob Jones University Press curriculum for language arts, math, history, science, and Bible. Grade school students will also experience time in the library, general music, art, and physical education. Students entering fifth grade have the opportunity to learn to play a band instrument starting the summer after their fourth grade year and can continue through the rest of their school years.
New elementary students may be required to complete a placement test in order to determine their academic level at OCS. For students who are accepted for admission at OCS, every effort will be made to place them in a position to succeed in their new school.
