Accreditation

Continuous Full Accreditation

Overland Christian Schools holds full accreditation with the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools.

The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools accreditation includes a self-study by local school educators, an on-site visit by a team of Professional Christian Educators, and an evaluation of documents and reports by the ACTS Board and Accreditation Commission and includes the following areas of Christian school excellence:  School Philosophy, Governance, Curriculum and Instruction, School Staff, Media and Technology, Finances, School Facilities, Admission Procedures and Policies, Records, Student Activities, Publications, and Health, Safety and Security.  Upon recommendation by the ACTS Accreditation Visiting Team, the ACTS Board awarded Overland Christian full accreditation for a six-year period beginning May 28, 2019 and continuing through June 30, 2025.  Accreditation is maintained by submitting a Continuous Accreditation Report prior to September 1st of each school year.

In addition, Overland Christian Schools earned dual-accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED.  This action was taken at the AdvancED Accreditation Commission meeting held in Tempe, Arizona on June 19, 2019.

NCA CASI accreditation is recognized across state lines, which not only eases the transfer process as students move from accredited school to accredited school, but also assures parents that the school is meeting nationally accepted standards for quality and successful professional practice.
